Artist's BiographyJeff is a native of San Francisco who began playing trombone in the same Berkeley Public School Jazz Project that encouraged such contemporaries as Peter Apfelbaum, Benny Green and Joshua Redman.
After and active career in the San Francisco Bay Area Latin Jazz Scene, Jeff recorded with the Carlos Santana Band on the \"Supernatural\" album. Jeff the joined the Supernatural 2000 world tour including performing in the 2000 Grammy awards telecast and \"Supernatural Live - An Evening with Carlos Santana and Friends\" television special and DVD and has toured the world with the Santana Band ever since.
During his career, Jeff has performed and recorded with such artists as: Tito Puente, Poncho Sanchez, Francisco Aguabella, Pete Escovedo, Sheila E., Steve Winwood, Don Cherry, Peter Apfelbaum and the Hieroglyphics Ensemble and John Santos and the Machete Ensemble and Trey Anastasio. Jeff has had the honor of playing \"Oye Como Va\" with composer Tito Puente as well as with Carlos Santana.
Some of Jeff\'s outside musical projects include the CD \"Queen of Hearts\" with Jai Uttal and the Pagan Love Orchestra, \"20 Aos de Sabor\" with Edgardo Cambon\'s Candela and \"Round Trip\" with Rebeca Mauleon, recordings with trumpet player Steven Bernstein, clarinetist Ben Goldberg, and the upcoming film and CD \"The Last Mambo\" produced by Wayne Wallace featuring the allstars of the San Francisco Latin Music Scene.
