Conn-Selmer is Pleased to Announce its Henri Selmer Paris Roster has Expanded

Conn-Selmer recently added several key artists to its Henri Selmer Paris Roster. They include Chris Bullock, Joe Girard, Daniel Hawthorne-Foss, Eric Marienthal, Douglas Masek, Mike Murley, Scott Sandberg, Zach Stern and Loren Stillman. Robert Lichty, Product Director for Henri Selmer Paris, did comment, “Henri Selmer Paris is a legendary brand.  The sound of these saxophones is what keeps generations of players attracted to it and seeking it out.  It is phenomenal to see so many accomplished artists joining our roster and sharing their sound on a Henri Selmer Paris instrument.”

 

Chris Bullock plays saxophone for the band Snarky Puppy, which is constantly on the road. Chris has his master’s from Michigan State University, and plays Series II and Mark VI saxophones.
 
  Joe GirardJoe Girard plays tenor saxophone with the Donald Sinta Quartet. Joe received his master’s from the University of Michigan and is currently studying for his doctorate at Michigan State University, where he is a teaching assistant. 
  Daniel Hawthorne-FossDaniel Hawthorne-Foss is the baritone saxophonist for the Donald Sinta Quartet. He is currently working on his master’s at the University of Michigan.
 
Eric Marienthal’s saxophone career is one most would envy, having played with Chick Corea, Al Hirt, Dave Weckl, Lee Ritenour and the Gordon Goodwin Big Phat Band among many others. Eric has also written a wildly popular series of instructional books. Eric is very loyal to his Mark VI, which he has played since he was 18 years old.
 
 
Douglas MasekDouglas Masek is a professor of saxophone at UCLA and is a renowned performer, noted for his ability to play classical, contemporary and jazz all with remarkable ability. He has performed with orchestras around the world and has seven recordings of his own.
 
 
Mike MurleyMike Murley is a Juno Award winning saxophonist who teaches at the University of Toronto. Mike mentioned he was “thrilled to be a part of such a distinguished group of musicians on the Henri Selmer Paris Roster.”
 
 
Scott SanbergScott Sandberg is on the faculty at University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota where he teaches woodwinds, chamber music, music theory and aural skills. Scott commented he was “thrilled to be part of such a legendary brand.” Scott plays Series II and Series III saxophones.

  Zach SternZach Stern is the alto saxophonist for the Donald Sinta Quartet. He is currently pursuing his master’s at the University of Michigan.
  Loren StillmanLoren Stillman is a freelance jazz musician, based out of Brooklyn. His own recordings have received countless accolades including four star recognition from BBC Jazz Review, Jazz Man Magazine and Downbeat Magazine. He has also played with the likes of Charlie Haden, Greg Osby, the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra and many others.
